Complex Consumption

Complex Consumption is a rare phenomenon that can occur within some Chimera, normally those who have Apex Predator complexes, which can cause a mental state similar to that produced by feeding.
During extreme life or death situations which no normal chimera, even those who regularly endure combat, would ever experience in their life times. The DNA that has been altered during the process of "Primary Metamorphisis" known as the "Darwin Code" becomes hyper triggered and causes an alteration in the prefrontal cortex which causes the complex to metaphorically consume the human part of Chimera and the Chimera's complex takes over their body. While still unknown about, some of those who have been consumed and become feral have been able to regain control however always live with their complex waiting to take over at the slightest slip in concentration.
