Personal history

Dregrin was born Antaris, a beautiful albino child "just like her mother", their father once said. Antaris was treated with lots of love and care from both of their parents, even if their mother often left her child alone some nights.

At the age of four, Dregrin's parents had another child, only this child was a striking image of their father: jet black hair and soft, hazel eyes. They didn't sport the plumage that Dregrin started to grow at their age, nor the scales down their arms. They watched as their sibling grew into a happy, healthy, human-passing child.

At the age of nine, Dregrin's mother passed due to being caught flying in Azalean sky at night, and getting shot point-blank. Their father grieved, and took out all that anger and frustration on his eldest child. It took four years of that sort of abuse for them to leave, at the expense of their little brother thinking that they died.

Education

The education that Dregrin obtained before leaving home was on par with that of a high school dropout; they had all of the education that they could muster, from basic science and math to more advanced language courses on the Universal Human Tongue. Leaving home may have stunted their growth in other studies, but what replaced that was an entirely different language system: Katchoin, spoken by the Katcho of the Azalean sewers.

From the Katcho, they learned how to survive on what little they had to work with; this often meant digging through the usually-locked dumpsters of food establishments and grocery stores. Along the way they learned how to pick locks, and finesse their way out of bad situations using their Siren-esque charisma.

Employment

After ditching their child name and naming themselves Dregrin, or "rotted person", their employment stayed completely underground, helping the Katcho with their basic needs for seven years. At 16, Dregrin joined a small gang of misfits, and at the age of 21, became their leader.

Dregrin's current employment is in the stealing of government resources, such as items in vaulted trucks or from the personal vehicles of important government officials; they also task themselves to steal food so they can feed their people. They are also known to lead armed heists, but has never participated in them directly.

1. Escaping what could have been a lifetime's worth of abuse
2. Learning an entirely-new spoken language [Katchoin] (and teaching one)
3. Framing a government official for harassment and abuse using his own evidence
4. Stealing enough food to celebrate Fête de Lune with my earned family

1. Losing my wings due to "normal Cambion practices"
2. Tried to get my sibling to run away with me, but he didn't understand
3. Nearly getting arrested during a failed heist-- with my clankin getting caught
4. Still incapable of speaking Daemonic, despite so much practice
