Demographics

In practicality, Ramble-Roost is simply a port for the use of getting to Cattle-Bone, which stands closer to the southern coast than north. It consists of mostly humans, though notably an elf calls the hamlet home. Otherwise as a port, the people living there are simply a way-station for travelers, with maps and provisions.

Government

As it is so small, Ramble-Roost consists of an undescribed democracy, allowing all to have a vote on what is done in the hamlet, though most keep to themselves and work on what is necessary for themselves.

Infrastructure

The homes are wooden and thatch, simple yet effective for where they find themselves living.

History

Ramble-Roost was once slightly larger as it was the only settlement in the region and as explorers venturing for the cause of New Tabbard. The singular claim to fame that Ramble-Roost hosts is the fact that the beloved founder of Cattle-Bone, High Priest Cathar, stayed in the settlement for a long while before venturing deep into the Wikimi Jungle that now is the home of Cattle-Bone. Ever since, the settlement has shrunk as many of the original citizens only stayed as they loved the natural environment that could be found in and around the place, but when Cattle-Bone was founded it was exactly what they wanted and what Ramble-Roost could not compete with.
