Accomplishments & Achievements
Born to a well off merchant family of gnome artificer's, Elisa grew up among the rapidly industrializing city of Old'dren. She famously disliked the city, having hated watching the poverty consume so many, and focused on gaining early admittance to the College of Lore. Surprising many she scored well but purposely delayed, taking six years to complete a four year degree, but doing so with perfect grades, as if delaying her return. She would enter the Arcanium, likely again to delay a return to Old'dren. There she found her passion and love of true magic, switching from artificer to Illusionist. There she would win over peers and develop many well known spells such as Elisa's Shadow Familiar, Elisa's Hypnotic Fireworks, and Elisa's Illusory Dragon. She would release many famous papers, such as "Illusion an Enchantment: A Natural Combination" and "The Utility of Shadow." However she would change focus in her later years, after a trip to Old'dren to see her family, the sight of how much worse poverty there had gotten. She became an active Populists, quickly leading the faction. Her papers entered a political bend with "Applied Magic: Workers Need Not Suffer" "The Cruelty of Untapped Potential" and "Kindness in Innovation."
Failures & Embarrassments
Her growing involvement in politics have lead her to openly clash with her peers. Grand Transmuter Marissa von Bulrick famously accused her for spreading malicious rumors about her daughter, leading to a public verbal brawl. Senators have even asked if it is the place of the council in greater national politics is not a threat to the nation, name dropping Elisa personally. The church had even banned "The Cruelty of Untapped Potential", though eventually it was undone as the content of the book was not as radical as the reaction to it.
Among her own faction however, Elisa also finds critic. Grand Diviner Ximena von NovEdren has called Elisa as "too moderate to matter, not conservative enough to be popular." Some of her junior illusionist have noted her magic development has suffered and wondered if her lobbying will lead to the chair being swapped soon.
