The Populists

Also known as the Populares or For the People in Draconic, is a political party in The Edren Empire.

Public Agenda

The Populists are simple in their beliefs, the empire serves the people and the good of the people, it is a tool for their betterment and if it can not fufill that duty it must be changed for the better. As such the populares are for health reform, better alms to the poor, anti-slavery, pro-government reform in whatever way helps their aim, in this era pro-centralizing power around the Populares Emperor, they tend to be more pro-war and expansionist as well, and more proindutrial though there is growing tension from more labour oriented populares and industrialist populares.
