The Conservatives

Officially known as the "Optimates" or The Optimal in Draconic, is a political party in the Edren Empire.

Public Agenda

The Optimates come from the word optimal based on the conservative idea that the Edren Empires government is or was the optimal government possible that any significant change threatens the system and the government itself. That while the world is troubled, radical change could lead to a tyrant or worse another complete collapse. 
As such the party favors no structural change to the government, continued power checking systems the government has, limited central authority over the state, Pro-Slavery, Anti-war,  Isolationist, but most importantly, anti-reform.
