Shulon

Shulon is a terrestrial planet that has been highly urbanized and built up. It is also home to the Shulanite Species, which make up the majority of the population, and their culture.
The planet is a member of the Galactic Coalition .

Star System

Shulon is located in a single-star system with nine other planets, one of which is Shulon. Shulon itself has two moons, neither of which are habitable.
A few other planets in the system have been colonized by Shulanites.

Ecosystem & Geography

Shulon is a habitable planet -the only place not habitable being the poles and the deep oceans- with much of it being covered in temperate or tropical climate biomes.
Much of the planet -if not all of it- has been urbanized, with its natural biomes being replaced with cities and other population centers. Some parks and nature reserves have been saved or rebuilt as areas of protected greenery, with massive government and public support.
There are also some large mountain and highland regions, which tend to be a bit more underdeveloped.

Population

The population of the planet is made up of mostly shulanites, with the shulanite population having a disproportionate amount of men compared to women due to their species having a higher birth rate of males. There are some groups of non-shulanite species on the planet but they are the minority.
Much of the populace lives in apartments and housing units on the outskirts of the main city centers and often has to take short commutes to work.

Infrastructure

Shulon is a very built-up planet with lots of trains, shutters, and other methods of travel that allow cross-planet travel to take a few hours for most methods to minutes for the most expensive options.
