Snarsis is a small desert planet covered in rocky barren wastelands with most of the cities and cultural development taking place underground in subterranean civilizations. The
people and
culture of the planets are called the Snarsisians.
Snarsis is a member planet of the
Galactic Coalition.
Star System
Snarsis is the only planet located in a binary star system with one large star and a much smaller star at its center. The planet has no moons.
Ecosystem & Geography
It is mostly rocky and barren with most of the lifeforms developed to live underground. The planet is mostly urbanized with most of the cities being built in subterranean caves.
The planet is resource-rich and therefore has a lot of industrial factories and the like, for private companies or the galactic coalition. Many of the people living on the planet are involved in working for these industries in some way.
Regions
Snozall District
The Snozall District is the district of the planet that is home to the capital city of the planet Snozall, a large underground city home to a large chunk of the planet’s population.
Zog District
The Zog district is a large industrial district on the surface of the planet made up of warehouses and factories where the majority of the planet's industrial buildings are located. Some lower-class residences are located here but not many would live there unless absolutely necessary due to the noise and the heat from the sun.
Population
Due to the planet’s hot desert environment and subterranean cities and culture, the majority of non-Snarsisians find it hard to live and work on the planet making the population mostly Snarsisians.
Most of the planet's cities are subterranean, having originally been built in natural cave systems that then were expanded and added onto to become the well-run cities that are prevalent on the planet.
Infrastructure
The planet has good infrastructure, with subterranean trains and elevators that can transport people across the planet and well-developed recycling systems that reuse the limited water on the planet as well as old goods and materials.
The planet also has extensive greenhouse-like structures built underground which provide the planet with food and materials made from plants. These greenhouses tend to be closer to the surface and most times have skylights that can be shuttered at the hottest times of the day so the plants get sunlight but don’t get scorched.
