Mu-68 "Songbird" Interceptor
The Mu-68, or Songbird Interceptor is one of the fastest fighters available on the market. Built as an interceptor by the Enginseers of the Musura Federation, the Songbird uses its incredible speed and manueverability to gain the upper hand. Mu-68s however have a very short range, and require a base or some kind of carrier. Songbirds are used in planetary or naval defense squadrons regularly, and also make great escorts for yatchs and other pleasure vessels.
While the tech signature may be low, most Mu-68s are armed to the teeth with heavy swivel canons a compliment of torpedos and missiles. They are also capable of sub-orbital flight.
