Phantasm

Phantasms are strange and bizarre beings, born out of strong dreams charged with emotion. Being unconstrained by the laws of biology, phantasms come in a variety of shapes, some being idealized reflections, others fantastic creations constrained only by the imagination of the dreamer.
Born of positive dreams, phantasms tend towards being friendly towards mortal creatures, seeking to propagate the same dreams that gave them life. This can occasionally be problematic, as one person's pleasure can be another's terror, but phantasms usually learn to leave people be who don't enjoy what they have to offer after a couple dozen tries.
In battle, phantasms use their bizarre array of abilities to defend themselves and any dreamer they have grown fond of.

As idealized beings, phantasms have a weakness in that sufficient harm can damage the pure idea they spring from, which weakens them even more than their injuries.
