Talco Vineman

The son of wealthy wine-merchant Astor Vineman, Talco travelled to Moraven in the White Colonies in order to broker a wine deal with Baron Maidar, Lord of the Weston March. Although not a warrior himself, he got caught up in the events of the Frost War and ended up participating in several skirmishes and sorties with the battle-hardened likes of Surma and Lietharen Viresta against the invading Ogrim forces.  After the war, Talco became the wine steward for "The Iron Tusk", an inn and tavern opened up by his unlikely friend (and now war-hero) Surma.
During the tense and emotionally-charged time of the Frost War, Talco was wrongly accused and imprisoned for an assassination attempt on the Fae Prince Arrathea of Oriliath. He was later liberated from his imprisonment by a mysterious person that Talco believes was a divine messenger sent by God.  This life-changing event deepened Talco's faith and prompted him to become an oblate of Ukko.
Talco is also the half-brother of Gavin Randall, both being sons of Astor Vineman, but with different mothers.
