Portland

Home of the world's largest bookstore, for decades Portland has been a haven for the counterculture among both humans and the supernatural. Vampires: The city is nominally under Camarilla control (led by a Prince nicknamed the Mayor of Boston), but in reality the Ivory Tower only controls a couple blocks of downtown. Anarchs dominate much of the city and countryside, but lately their numbers have been corrupted by Sabbat radicals seeking to seize the city once and for all. Mages: A handful of mages reside in Portland, typically Nameless or Libertines seeking to avoid the distractions of mage politics in places like San Francisco. Notable mages include Alice Green, who managed to craft a series of flashlights capable of burning vampires. Cthulhu Mythos: The Unusual Incidents Unit and SCP Foundation have both kept tabs on a pocket dimension known as Three Portlands near the city, a potential weak spot allowing creatures from beyond Spooky Earth's dimension to sneak into the world.
