SFC Session 8: Know Your Limits

April 2, 1995 - Sunday
The coterie spent the weekend at Oliver's drive-in theater, staying away from downtown until the dust from the Sabbat attack had settled. A call from Eddie finally dragged them back to their domain, the bartender having received a letter from Portland's expat community of Camarilla announcing their praxis of Oakland (ie Anarch territory). At least their neighborhood was secure: Ronnie stopped by with a VHS tape she'd made, a snuff film of her eliminating a Sabbat agent that had trespassed onto their domain a couple nights ago. Concerned by the shocking display of power in the tape, Ellie and Eidard took a break to feed on a gay couple in a delightfully awkward foursome. But the coterie still had other matters to attend to, especially with the Camarilla starting to encroach into Anarch territory. Ellie and Eidard reluctantly agreed that a visit to Elysium was needed to find any intel they could use against the Camarilla and Sabbat alike. Ellie suffered through another moment of seduction from Shannon while Eidard scoped out the backrooms of Elysium, the Sheriff had confirmed that there were plenty of ancient tomes in the vaults but the coterie would have a hard time getting close enough to get any use out of them. As a last resort the two vampires met up with William Frankfort at his home to discuss a trade to get any kind of advantage against their enemies. William was intrigued, but it quickly became clear that the coterie had little to trade in exchange for William's resources. He kept the door open for future negotiations, but in the meantime the vampires would need to get a better hand for playing against the Camarilla. Rumors circled that night about Fang's gang of Anarch bikers coming back to town, and there was always that eccentric punk rocker that was a bit too curious about the supernatural...
