Skar Mountains
A large mountain structure containing rough terrain taking up most of the southern districts of the Junon region, and thought to be the site of a long burnt out volcano. The mountains here have very little if anything to offer for resources these days, while scientists seek methods to chip away at the stone for additional land without causing problems to the earth around the area. (Pronunciation: “Scar”)
Geography
These tall mountain slopes elevate beyond 14,000 feet. The mountain structure is tall and rocky, but also contains an underground ravine that has been closing off over the period of thousands of years. In the beginning history of Sprawn Valley's magic, this area used to be richer in crystal shards and other minerals used in common day Leray crystals. Now, it mostly serves as a hiking challenge for many who come to visit.
Natural Resources
Common minerals. Crystal Shards and materials that make this up have mostly been depleted.
