Coalition of Likeminded States

The Coalition of Likeminded States lasted from 235 - 255 when it became the Federation of Like Minded States.
When the Keplar Empire started agressively expaning territory between 230-235, the independent city-states of the northwest were growing concerned. When the Keplan's officially annexed Northwinds Pass a close neighbor of Tri-City, the 5 states decided it was time to make a formal coalition to collectively defend against outside threats.

The Coalition made it through the Keplar / Coalition of Likeminded States War without losing any territories.

The first railroad went into public usage in 250, and by 255 it connected all the cities of the Coalition. However, when 4 of the city-states formed a more formal bond with a powerful federal level government, Tri-City chose to decline the offer to join the new Federation of Like Minded States.

The Federation and Tri-City still have a close connection, and people living in the Fedora district of Tri-City can still vote in Federal elections.
