The crew of the Eventide have landed on Mataou, in order to find a long lost library belonging to Mir's order, the Jal Shey. Lost in a mysterious and vast desert, and the exact location known to very few. Will the crew be able to find it?
The crew aided Dr. Caliss in exploring an ancient Rakatan ruin, activating the super weapon hidden beneath it, and nearly destroying Mataou and themselves in the process. They managed to escape their force visions and travel back to a point in time just prior to their exploration of the ruins, but at the cost of Mez's life and the potential of ending up in a timeline that is not their own.
