Lower Coromons

The Lower Coromons are a group of nine islands that make up the worker and laborer residential area for the Incom Incom Corporation in the city of Coromon on the planet of Fresia. The largely non-human population live in near slum-like conditions on the islands.

Island 1

This is the first residential island in LC. It is made up of two intertwined functional residential buildings, each with 3 levels and housing about 5,000 people in nearly identical apartments. The housing could not be more basic - shared refreshers, cramped quarters, almost no decoration, and few amenities. There is a small speeder platform on the island that is used to shuttle people to other islands in Coromon. A few holo-boards around the island remind the residents that Incom has donated significant funds to support the housing and lives of those living here. 

Island 2

This small island is simply storage, supplies, and waste management for the Lower Coromons. Security is minimal, and the single building is simply various storage rooms for medical supplies, emergency rations, backup batteries, etc. and a giant incinerator for waste disposal. 

Island 3

This is the taxi depot for the central transportation authority on Coromon. There are various speeders and speeder bikes on large platforms, as well as a small office for the CTA. There is basic security card access to get past the arrival platform, but no real security other than a few holo recorders. 

Island 4

This is junkyard island, used for large-scale junk items such as speeders and small starships, as well as industrial items used throughout the Lower Coromons (HVAC, kitchens, etc.). There is no formal speeder platform, just empty space on the land where speeders and barges can land. 

Island 5

Another large residential island, I5 has identical intertwining buildings like Island 1, housing another ~5,000 people. In addition, I5 also has one of the large generators in the LC, providing power not just to this island, but to several of the other island on the north side of the LC. There is also a massive speeder platform on I5 which serves as the commuting hub for everyone in the LC to get to and from Coromon Besh and Prime Coromon for their jobs. People stand in long lines each day, stretching underneath the platform, to take the free shuttles provided by Incom. 

Island 6

This is a restricted island that is used by the interplanetary security forces as a supplemental starfighter squadron port. There are security officers on the speeder platform, and access is only granted upon successful scan of an ISF-approved security card. The port itself is like a miniature version of The Dock in the Northwest Coromons and houses a full squadron. 

Island 7

Nearly identical in every way to Island 1, this residential island houses another 5,000 residents.

Islands 8 & 9

These islands are currently unoccupied, except for some abandoned construction equipment. They were planned to be used for an underground entertainment facility for the residents of the LC, but the project was abandoned due to unexpected increases in cost.
