The First Born
The First Born are a secret group of Khommite activists on Khomm. They were created during the chaos that surrounded the reconstruction efforts after the Imperial Remnant bombarded the planet from orbit in 11 ABY. Their goal is the genetic and social diversification of Khomm and all Khommites in order to be more adaptable to future catastrophic changes.
Over the past year, they have carried out raids on cloning facilities operated by Khomm Central Population Planning, stealing cloning technology and genetic codes and materials. With this, they have set up their own cloning facilities and are attempting to build a program that will take existing samples of increasingly diverse sets of genetic code stored in a database and create random, but viable, genetically unique Khommites, simulating the mutation that occurs in sexual reproduction in other species.
