Do You Want to Buy a Holocron?
General Summary
- There is a lot of standing around staring at a holocron, followed by a long series of discussions about how to safely test the holocron, as well as how to protect everyone here from Sith returning to try to take the holocron or the fake one.
- Asha meditates on it and learns it's broken and using the life forces of the Rangers to repair itself, except it's very very slow, because they don't spend much time with it.
- Tor'vir touches it and says it feels like multiple force spirits inside of it.
- The Rangers agree to allow the Jedi and Asha to poke the holocron more, but they do not want Niwadi around as she would be vulnerable to it. They then realize Niwadi is actually missing, eventually comming her and finding out she'd wandered off while they investigated the holocron.
- The force users discuss how the holocron is modifying people and come up with several theories to test as to how it's granting force abilities to the Rangers. They start testing, feeding it force, trying to feed it livestock, feeding it plants, etc.
- They discover some of the population is naturally force active.
- Tor'vir builds a better fake holocron for the museum to have on display to help hide the real one, which will be left with the Rangers. While he does that, Asha goes to poke around in the various archeological ruins, and Niwadi plays tourist and learns to ride and race thrantas. Grid'tok hangs out with Niwadi.
- They investigate the holocron futher, hooking it up to the Rakatan battery. Suddenly the imaginary friend in Asha's head is screaming because a device like this cut her off before and she can't get through it. Nebula tells Tor'vir the device is shredding the current's flow. Asha falls unconscious.
