Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Like most Jawa, no one is actually certain what Niwadi looks like under the robes and hood. She is average height for a Jawa, and quick of motion.

Facial Features

Unlike many Jawa, Niwadi invested in a wearable vocoder device which is seen glinting under her hood.

Apparel & Accessories

Niwadi wears the brown robes and black gloves, boots, and facial covering of all Jawa. However, her robes are adorned with blue and tan racing stripes radiating from a doubled sun, and she has a set of robes for racing that include a full "Qiju Racing" logo. In a crowd of Jawa, the robes would stand out. She wears two lightsaber hilts.

Personal history

Niwadi grew up like any other Jawa, scavenging and haggling across the sands of Tatooine. But life on a sandcrawler was boring. Every stop the clan made in Anchorage would find her at the spaceport, sweet-talking trades of scrap, parts, or her mechanical skills for piloting lessons.
Her racing career started when she stole a speeder and fled pursuit, only to realize she'd accidentally acquired a racer's bike and was on a race track! She was required by race officials to return the speeder when the original driver was found, injured; but she'd impressed several racers and investors with her handling of the bike. Various sponsors would have her race when their normal driver was unable to compete, and she was able to earn enough from her races to pay for her piloting lessons, as well as give back to the Clan funds. With the help of Clan Qiju, she built her own racing speeder.

She still wanted to fly, but a ship was completely beyond Clan resources, and Jawa stayed with their Clans. So when Gridtok decided he was going to go to Coruscant to become a Jedi, an idea even more outlandish than a Jawa racer, she decided to go with him. Two Jawa could be enough of a Clan offworld, and racing was popular enough throughout the galaxy she was sure she could earn the credits to support them both, at least until Gridtok made a trade and officially became an adult.
She followed him to Coruscant where he petitioned to join the Jedi and was accepted; she followed to Tython where she worked for the Jedi order while he trained, and when his Master Alize decided to go Ronin to go do good in the galaxy she followed along.

Education

She is one of the better educated Jawa in the galaxy. She spent her youngling days learning about ships and piloting. When she and Gridtok went to Tython, she audited a wide range of Jedi classes, just one more brown-robed student amongst the rest. She is best-trained in technology and mechanical things, and is an exceptional pilot.

Employment

She rode swoops, speeders, and podracers for several sponsors on Tatooine, including making it into the Boonta Eve Classic one year.
On Tython she was employed as a courier for the Jedi Order, and often flew out messages and supplies to Jedi on planet or offworld.
She is now often mistaken for one of Master Alize's padwans and acts as sort of an advisor or assistant in financial matters for the Master Jedi. She considers her primary responsibility to the small flock of Ronin Jedi to make sure they don't just give away everything and forget they need to eat, too.

Despite working through a vocoder, Niwadi is excellent in social situations. She likes to make friends, she enjoys carousing, she can be playing sabaac with miners one day and the next shuffling a deck against a republic base commander and get on well in either situation.

Speech

She doesn't tend to use full sentences, or at least her vocoder doesn't. Whether that is do to her own speech, or the way the vocoder was programmed, or built, is unknown.

Modest winnings from racing and gambling.
She dutifully sends credits back to Tatooine for Clan funds.
