small, village-sized platform settlement on Pelagon (the planet), in the Pelagon System which is the capital of the Pelagia Province

Government

Count Aral Vorkosigan rules this place, but since the Count is usually paying attention to more galactic-scale matters, most of the municipal issues are handled by Armsman Vogti and his staff of maybe fifteen retired Tapani military engineers.

Industry & Trade

Hiking, surfing, fishing, sailing, and something involving the ancient ruins on the sea floor near the village platform's anchor point; several of the residents knit, a couple of them are into brewing or cheesemaking or something like that, but mostly the industry of Vorkosigan Surleau seems to be "being a quiet little village".
