Oridelve Oridium Mine
The Hutt owned mine located on the planet Gavos is one of the few sources of oridium ore, used in the making of hyperdrive fuel. The Hutts run the mine swiftly and sloppily in order to make as much money in as little time as possible and the operations took some dangerous and risky shortcuts. This has led to the mine running a skeleton crew with old and failing equipment, including their droids. Recently, the mine was the birthplace of the New Droid's Rights Movement. This small revolution was the result of poorly maintained droids rebelling against their masters by slaughtering them. The uprising was stopped by the crew of the Summerhawk during their attempt to acquire the ship thief, Dai Danu.
