The City of Starfell

The City of Starfell is a large city right underneath the The Fellian Rift. It known as the most holy city, and a place where followers of the Church of the Lightbearer must fight against the forces of darkness, and help Vsinerinm repare the tear in the sky through constant worship.

Demographics

About three quarters of the population of Starfell are followers of the Church in some way, and about thirty-six percent of those followers consider themselves devote. Surprisingly, despite the highly common prescence of Vampire Hunters, and the extreme hostility towards anything labeled "unholy", Starfell has the highest concentration of reported vampires compared to anywhere in the world.

History

Starfell was founded about 20 years after the The Fellian Rift appeared. It was founded as a stronghold to help the surrounding villages to deal with the aftermath of the meteor showers that had come from the tear. Eventually, the Church of the Lightbearer began to use Starfell as it's religious center, their reasoning being that Vsinerinm needed their prayers to help repair the sky, and Starfell was the best place to do so, as they were right underneath the tear. Soon, the town grew into a city, growing larger each passing year.
