Hysteria 04: "Neon Dreams"
General Summary
Shopping at a thrift store in Mont-de-Marsan, Hinata runs into Niko. At the Avenue Électrique club, they acquire a camera jammer and run into Tak and Torsten. Heading to a radio tower and building under renovation, Niko and Hinata climb it while discussing Tsutsumi Hano and the history of the Republic of Novarre. Nearing dying due to a sudden bout of rainfall, the two descend safely.
Back on Nova Base, pilot training begins. At the end of the first week, cadets are ranked on piloting skill and a free-for-all simulation with the addition of Louise Michaud and another ensign commences. Hinata collaborates with Louise to secure a high finish for both of them. Heading to bed, Hinata has an out-of-body experience in which he talks to Celestine Lachapelle, Torsten Ahlander, and Tak Hye-Su in a revisited moment of the past. Moments after a heated conversation with them ends, Hinata sees another version of himself.
