The Social Confederation of Galactic Republics, often shortened as the Social Republic, is a confederation of Kobayashist space colonies and planetside states. Its capital is the near-mythical Eden. It is widely considered to be a galactic superpower.

The Social Republic is a confederation of semi-autonomous Kobayashist republics, with its unifying federal government being a one-party Kobayashist legislative body. The republic does not have any single leader vested with executive power, and relies heavily on the Tama in its political decision-making.Foreign Policy
The Social Republic aggressively seeks to stop the spread and undermine the influence of capitalism, often provoking conflicts to do so. It is strictly ideologically opposed to imperialism in all forms, and fights only what the republic refers to as 'defensive conflicts'.History
The Social Republic's ideological tenants were manifested primarily by Haruto Kobayashi, a neo-Marxist philosopher whose death and subsequent martyrdom during a revolution aboard Aomori colony in 2495 C.E. led to founding of the burgeoning republic. Amid a century of economic stagnation, a wave of revolutions swept a number of other space colonies in the 2540's, bolstering the republic into a galactic power.
