Tama

The Tama are a number of hyperintelligent artificial intelligences responsible for much of the administration and strategic decision making of the Social Republic.

History

In concept, the Tama were first theorized by Haruto Kobayashi as means to achieve a post-scarcity society in the early 2490's, using existing artificial intelligence technology. As praxis, the Tama first saw successful implementation during the Social Revolutions of the 2540's.

Technology

No single technological source for the Tama has been definitively proven, although some observers have noted similarities with some of the advanced artificial intelligence used by the GUSF fleet command in a lesser capacity. Various Martian corporations have offered large bounties for information on their technical specifications.
