Ur Zawr

Ur Zawr is a small town located in the northlands of the Zodaskhan empire, part of the larger city of Urlak Thonis. Despite its small size, Ur Zawr is known for its unique culture and location. Being the smallest town in the Zodaskhan empire, it is relatively free from the xenophobic culture and oppression present in other parts of the empire. The town's proximity to the northern seas, the Taniyn, and the northern deserts make it a crossroads for trade and commerce, but also means it is rife with danger. Pirates and raiders are known to frequent the area in higher numbers, making Ur Zawr one of the rougher towns in the region
Despite the constant threat of danger, Ur Zawr is a close-knit community. The people here are known for their resilience and resourcefulness, often taking advantage of the challenges they face to improve their livelihoods. Additionally, the town is home to a variety of small businesses and organizations that cater to travelers and visitors looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of larger cities.

Defences

Ur Zawr maintains a barebones militia which serves primarily as a lookout for greater dangers. The townspeople and travelers, however, tend to be better armed and better trained to deal with threats.

Ur Zawr is also home to small guild of hunters known for taking on the more perilous encounters.

Ur Zawr's greatest source of income is hospitality, boarding and other basic services rendered to travelers passing through.

THe Rising Sun Tavern is the most important building in the town.
Ur Zawr is also built on top of an underground spring, allowing the town to easily tap into fresh water.
