Reroutes

  • 1st and 2nd level shields are rerouted to engines to boost engine power from 1,000kph to 3,000kph (after engine reroutes below)
  • 2nd and 3rd level engines are rerouted to phasers to boost phasers to 18.6km
  • 4th and 5th level engines are rerouted to shields (to bring shields to 5x), and from phasers to engines to prevent phaser overloading
 

Notes

  • "4/3/5" gives the effect of a 4/3/5 allocation, but it is actually a 3/2/5 allocation with reroutes to boost engines and phasers
  • Torpedo avoidance will be easier with 3,000 in engines, at the cost of slightly less phaser range and power (as compared with 5/2/5 Combat Balanced)
  • Engines at 3,000 also allows for quick impulse escape
  • The reroutes are stable and will not overload; power levels will not drop
  • Additional reroutes can be made to phasers or shields, if needed, to boost them (at the cost of system overloads)
