The Basement Bar
The Basement Bar is an hidden bar located in the downtown of Aegis Town.
Purpose / Function
To prevent overcrowding of the small space, entry to the bar is "exclusive to word of mouth", meaning the establishment is not open or welcome to random passerby's.
The Basement Bar's underground ambiance attracts many eccentric talents and patrons. The Basement Boss ensures that every week's lineup is always a little different. After all, variety is what the people want. Unfortunately, this means that the quality of entertainment isn't always there. Boss will not hesitate to dump a performer if they stink!
This is why The Basement Bar has saved one spot for a dedicated act. This in-house performer will fill in for no-shows or if the guest act isn't up to snuff. The current Basement Bar performer is the sing-dancer, Penny, who practically lives there.
Architecture
The bar is located several floors below an abandoned apartment, and only operates in the evening. The bar has a built in stage, makeshift dressing room (closet), and old time piano for a variety of performances.
History
The Basement Bar ran for several years until it was destroyed in a dragon attack. Since then, it has been rebuilt alongside the rest of the town. It now features a new "Rooftop Romp & Restaurant", with multiple floors of bar space in the building.
