Aegis Town is a peaceful trading settlement with residents of a variety of crafting professions.

Defences

Since Aegis Town is constantly expanding, it has no surrounding walls or concrete defenses. The risk of invasion has historically been low due to the region's natural defenses (The Dead Forest , Aegis Fields , Neira Pass). Since the region falls under Duelist territory, inhabitants are free to carry weaponry, giving the city some defense in the form of an armed citizenry.
The only other form of protection is the local Clan Nemesis and its fortified Castle. Nemesis collects fees from several merchant clans in Aegis Town, guaranteeing instantaneous protection in case of emergency.
