Steelskull Baloth

A roaming subspecies of Baloth whose hide appears a dull steel grey and is especially durable. Their natural coloring and comparitvly low hanging body make them harder to distinguish among The Thousand Tier Steppes.
The Elcitaur of Modrug almost exsclucly relay on the the roaming heards of Steelskull Baloth for sustiance and trade. While their thick hide keep Steelskull's from growing as large as some of their cousins, fully grown males only natural predators are the ferocious Steppe Stalkpaw , and even then only the full grown winged adults.
Steelskull hide is notoriosuly difficult to work with and shape, and as such piece of armor or equipment can only be made from hide and bone vaguely alligned for its purpose already. The Elcitaur tribes are protective and extremly territorla when it coems to encroaches or other groups claming the bones and bodies of their herds.
