Vorithós Ieréa

The lowly acolyte, responsible for attendence upon the Papás and Diákenos during worship, as well as maintenance of the vestments and relics of the parish, is called a Vorithós Ieréa. They are never ordained. They do, however, have to take sacred vows prior to entering service.   Despite the fact that they are never ordained, they are considered full members of the Lerateío.
