Aether Elves

Aether Elves are a new type of Elf in the world of Strathnora, something that has not happened in decades, if not centuries.
Aether Elves are characterised by their pale skin, slight frames, light hair and softly glowing eyes, as well as their powerful connection to the forces of magic and Astral energy as a whole. This connection to Astral energy has led to a powerful ability to see through the fabric of reality in such a way as to be able to view possible future events, which come in the form of, often cryptic, visions. This ability is less a form of future sight, and more the ability to peer between realities, seeing the outcomes of myriad descisions before they are made.
Due to their recent creation/discovery, Aether Elves do not have much of an individual culture from the other Elven Heritages, sharing their traditions, ideals and ceremonies. As such, Aether ELves are not yet seen as a separate Elven Heritage, rather being thought to simply be a regular Elf.
The only known Aether Elf, Syl'vir Baeinid, is currently unaware that she is the first of her kind, and simply believes her ability to see into the future to be the result of her powerful magical abilities.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

As with names, Aether ELves share the same beauty ideals as most other Elves, seeing more beauty in the flowing forms of nature than in the hard lines and edges of other civilisations.

Courtship Ideals

Aether Elves current courtship ideals are unknown, as the only existing member of the Heritage, Syl'vir Baeinid, is extremely shy, though the sharing of knowledge seems to be a good way to get her to open up.
