Hosh Hwell

Hosh Hwell is the "Bridge of Midora," linking the two regions of Orcli and Svetli. The island is located on a sloping, volcanic isle, providing fertile ground but periodic disaster and a challenging, sloping topography. The local economy is largely sustained by travelers going from Orcli to Svetli, or vice-versa.

Geography

Hosh Hwell is small, with coastal cliffs and a moorland interior, where a few farmers live, but the majority of the population live in the port town of Hoshton.

History

Hoshton, its only main settlement, was established at the small port of the island when naval travel advanced to the point of enabling the transport to and from Svetli to Orcli. Today, it is loosely administered by Orcli, although Svetli contests this - Hoshtonians claim independence from both, although more aligning with Svetli.
