Southtrees

Southtrees is a logging town at the mouth of the Sabrianc, whose loggers also work in the flat-ground forest along Budham Bay.  Southtrees is a popular port town for travelers and pilgrims to and from the elf town of Pyndan up the Sabrianc in the Pyndan Highs, with its beautiful nature, alpine lake, and tieflings camps around Cooking Lake.  As a result, a tourist industry has grown with taverns and inns, moreso than its sister Hjemsted town of Theyvith to the north.  Around the corner from Felsuvn, Southtrees has also grown in its trade with Felsuvn, along with Budham, Port Orange, and Minnet Hwell, compared to Theyvith which mainly provides lumber to Cannaton and Hevedberg, competing with logging industries of Taflshir and Caradda foresters.

History

Southtrees grew from homesteads to an organized town, but was smaller than Theyvith whose two rivers and pineland forest attracted more loggers.  Southtrees grew in prominence however as trade with the Orchardlands and Felsuvn grew, and utilizing the Budham Bay to house clandestine sailors.
