Wyvern Way
The Wyvern Way is the name of the peninsula, forested mountain range, and road in southwest Tatsch. It is home to wyvern nests, dens, and rookeries, whose wyverns periodically wreak havoc across Tatsch Hwell and even some into Tockotch Hwell and the surrounding waters.
Geography
Forested ridge of hills with some mesas, ravines, canyons. Coastal areas may be flatter and used for wheat farming. The coast is cliffier and more stark than other areas of Tatsch, which may be wide, sandy, and spacious.

History
Tatsch Hwell lacks ridges and forests used for wyvern nesting, but contains lots of open sky and land for them to hunt their prey, making Wyvern Way a popular wyvern rookery, nesting spot, and breeding grounds. A wyvern can travel far distances and venture off alone throughout the hwells, but they usually return here to breed, rest, feed, and rear their young. Because of this, halflings of Tatsch long regarded the forested area as haunted, and they stayed away from it as much as possible, preferring spots with open sky so they can see oncoming wyverns and prepare accordingly to defend or intercept, as the flying knights became more adept at fighting them head-on. Straughten is the only town, and Meidri Manor is the only other place where people live in the woods.
