Great-Oaks
The Great-Oaks of the Leshivoi Forest are among the largest and most imposing trees found within these woods.
These trees grow up to heights as tall as 50 meters with trunks thicker than many houses found in the City of Styx.
The Forestfolk consider all of the Leshivoi Forest holy but the Great-Oaks are to them what the Grand Temple is to the people of Styx: places of worship and great power. The wood of Great-Oaks is special in the regard that it emits a low thumping sound in a stable repeating and synchronized manner.
All great-oak wood no matter where within Aman-ya emits this sound roughly every 12 seconds.
