Though the Sumraki-Ashaī of Styx traditionally recognized three genders ( male, female and wyreth ) there have always been people who did not identify as such.
In ages past these individuals were forced into the social role of wyren and not recognized socially or legally but times are changing.
The Temple Parliament is starting to legally and socially recognize non-trinary people instead of forcing them into a trinary role.

Non-Trinary people may identify partially as a trinary gender or be outside of gender, devoid of gender or all genders at once and may express their gender in any way.
