Osthalt

Osthalt is the easternmost district of Styx and is located right at the edge of the Chasm of Umbrae. Osthalt is the location of Styx small but up-and-coming airship hangar. This hangar was built recently and is the topic of a great controversy in relation to the Code of Serkatha. Before this Osthalt was merely a small residential district, founded early in the history of Styx it used to be an enclave for those outcast by the city proper like lepers and the undead. Osthalt is also the location of the Osthalt Necropolis, a large graveyard with many old crypts, once built by the nobles of Styx, that fell into disrepair after the Revolution. Rumours persist of cultists, mindless undead or even more sinister things living in the abandoned and hidden halls that one can enter from the Ossuary. With the Chasm of Umbrae and its ominous whispers being so close few citizens enjoy a walk to Osthalt and "a walk to Osthalt" is, in fact, a euphemism for dying.
