People's Guard Militias

The People's Guard Militias are district based Law Enforcement groups made up of volunteers that are trained and armed to enforce the laws of the Republic of Styx.
Their jurisdiction only spans the area of their home district and their ability to act is restricted locally as well as in their options for punishing crimes.

Any crime which is considered grave or which crosses the boundaries of a given district calls for the presence of the Federal Vanguard who supplement the militias.

The People's Guard Militias are overseen by the Commissars which are members of their own chosen by the Church of Serkatha to keep the ethics and moral character of the forces in check.
