Petrichorya

Petrichorya is the capital city of the Kingdom of Darklight and the seat of its Holy Crown. The city extends to the northern edge of the Leshivoi Forest and is home to an imposing castle on a hill that is surrounded by the rest of the city. It has a city wall as well as a second outer palisade and numerous moats also serving as defensive positions. Petrichorya is famous for being unconquered for millenia, the city clashed with the Empire of Styx in the past and the Great Revolution has only made relations more tense. Disregarding the hostility between the opposing political systems the neighbors still have a vital and flourishing network of trade with Styx exporting industrially produced goods and Darklight trading in lifestock and farmware in return.
