Saints
The Revolutionary Saints of Serkatha make up an important part of the Church of Serkatha.
During the tyrannical rule of the God Empress they were minor but now they are far more prominent in the religious culture of Styx.
There are said to be 13.000 saints total but there are a number that are much more popular than others.
The most notable saints are Saint Sharrkan the Tempest-Fisher, Saint Matrynka the Magick-Weaver, Saint Astararyn the Far-Seeker and Saint Gramscion the Hopeful Prisoner as well as Saint Parvis the Merciful and Saint Everyn the War Maiden, the founder of the Martial Saints of Everyn's Order.
The Temple celebrates many saints with a feast day held on Templenik.
Many of the saints have convents located in and around Styx, the Sisterhood of Saint Pyrrhosjak is one such institution.
Other minor but still popularly honored saints are:
Saint Mortaen the Deathbringer, an ambivalent psychopomp.
Saint Evangyl the Toiling Tiller, patron saint of peasantry and farmers.
Saint Vilistra, the Matron of Judgement after whom Saint Vilistra's Judgement Bridge is named.
