Spoke of Winter
The Spoke of Winter is one of the Four Spokes of the Wheel of Seasons as they are observed by the Eldest Faith among the Forestfolk of the Leshivoi Forest.
It is also referred to as the Last Spoke or the Frozen Spoke.
Dánū-Dáhaī the Firstborn of Spiders is the Heralding Sein of the Spoke of Winter.
Vhis-Vāhīn the Firstborn of Fog and F̄-háll-Páhār the Firstborn of Crows are also part of this spoke and F’jell-Jásit the Firstborn of Felines is its Harbinger Sein.
The Spoke of Winter within the Wheel of Seasons is considered a time of rest, recuperation and considered a time within which warfare and violence is frowned upon.
The most important celebration of this season is Spokesturn, the night of the Harbinger of Coming Spring F’jell-Jásit during which the followers of the Eldest Faith recount their losses, make peace when possible and dedicate themselves to new beginnings.
