Wheel of Seasons

The Wheel of Seasons is a central aspect of the Eldest Faith as practiced by the Forestfolk of the Leshivoi.

It is traditionally divided into the Four Spokes with Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter each being one of the spokes. Within the wheel the Four Spokes are each represented by four so called "seins" of which each embodies one of the Firstborn of the Greatwood.

Each season has a Heralding Sein, the Firstborn within this season with the greatest standing among the faithful or the most respect from the other Firstborn and a Harbinger Sein, one of the Firstborn within the Heralding Sein's circle that is also connected to the season ahead of its own.
The Harbinger Sein embodies the passing of Seasons and the moving on of the natural cycle.

All seins of the Wheel of Seasons as ordered by their Spoke are:
Spoke of Spring

Spoke of Summer

Spoke of Autumn
  • Tá’hjiéll-Véß the Firstborn of Stallions
  • Mí’ꭆaßá-Vhār the Firstborn of the Hills

Spoke of Winter
