World Skull

The World Skull is said to be a cosmically sized skull akin to a stag's. The Three Eyes of the World Skull are where the afterlives of the various faiths and philosophies of Subsolem Septem are located and the skull has four sets of antlers.

At the center of its skull are the two Minor Antlers which uphold the World Disks.

At the two sides of the skull there are three antlers each; on the branches of these Major Antlers the various Realms of Subsolem Septem are found with the Middle Realms at ascending heights of the antlers and the High Realms cresting the very tops of the antlers and circling the skull itself as a halo of shifting islands and semi-solid cloudlands.

Below the World Skull lies the swirling vortex of the Abyss that threatens to swallow the entirety of Subsolem Septem taking a little bit more as the millenia pass.

Scholars of ancient lore theorize that the World Skull is or was (which is hotly debated) a being of cosmic intellect and that its latent magick is what stops the Abyss from swallowing all Realms in an instant. Some even think that the skull rests atop an entire cosmic body which is now completely engulfed in the vortex of the void.
