Cosmos
This world is called Subsolem Septem, a world under Seven Suns, the Great Everything.
At the center of the cosmos lies the Prime World Disk or Primi Orbis Mundi.
The surface of this disk is what makes up the Scorched Lands and within the disk the Deeplands also known as Sunless Depths are found.
The disks curvature increases at the edges becoming more and more mountainous making passage off the world bowl nigh impossible.
Below the Prime World Disk lies the Secondary World Disk, which we will refer to as Secundi Orbis Mundus.
The Secondary World Disk is a vast and strange realm. At the center of the Secondary Disk lies the City of Judgement where all once-mortal souls go to be judged for he lives they lived and the deaths they died.
Upon their death all once-living beings’ souls are pulled towards this gravitational center where they go to be judged and divided among their final resting places.
Surrounding the City of Judgement are the Lower Realms which include the Thirteen-point-one-two-seven-nine Hells which are ruled by the Princes of Hell as well as the chaotic and unstable Weirdwyld. The Nine Circles of Hell as well as the Infernal Wastes and the Lymbaugh are some the Lower Realms shaped like a corruption of the entire circular Secondary World Disk and the City of Judgement at its center. As Devils and Demons tempt mortals to commit acts of evil upon their fellow people they have shaped their city and realm in a mockery of the place the very mortals they deceived are judged.
Below even the Secondary World Disk lies the World Skull which binds together all Realms.
Upon being judged in the City of Judgement by The Judge the souls of the deceased move to one of the Three Eyes of the World Skull which are divided by moral codes or the Lymbaugh.
Moral philosophies and faiths which seek to enable absolute moral selfishness make up the right eye and are divided by law and chaos once more.
Moral philosophies and faiths which seek to enable absolute moral selflessness make up the left eye and are divided by law and chaos once more.
The central eye is made up of Realms aligned with those moral philosophies and faiths which seek to balance selfishness and selflessness.
The Secondary World Disk rests upon its Minor Antlers which are located at both sides of the center of its skull cap.
The Six Major Antlers rise high to the sides of the skull.
Located on their branches are the various Middle Realms like the Elemental Realms, the Fey Realms, the Dream Realms and stranger places even.
Cresting the antlers is a third layer of Realms known as the High Realms or Aethereal Realm.
The Aetherreal Realm is a shifting landscape of floating islands, continents as well as semi-solid aether clouds which like the Secondary World Disk is home to various races, civilizations and ecologies.
The Aethereal Realm is shaped like a halo and follows a circle around the top of the highest branches of all of the Six Major Antlers around the World Skull. At the its center, surrounded by two crescent shaped and upward curving islands is a hole in which no island nor clouds ever dwell.
Above and beyond the Aethereal Realm lies the Nearer Astral Realm which separates the World Skull and all Realms connected to it from the Seven Suns. The Nearer Astral Realm may seem limited in its size as the light of the Suns reaches the worlds quickly but would one attempt to traverse it it would stretch almost infinitely.
The Seven Suns are the seven heavenly bodies which dwell in the Farer Astral Realm and give light and warmth to the various Realms. They rays scorch the surface of the Prime World Disk but seem to have much less impact on the Middle Realms located on the branches of the World Skull and paradoxically also on the High Realms which are located much closer to them than the Prime World Disk is.
The Seven Suns save for one of them all travel on stable pathways orbiting the World Skull and all Realms located on it but they never pass below the skull cap, instead only lowering to there and then rising again in a circle.
The Farer Astral Realm is said to stretch infinitely with many stars being located to all directions from above the World Skull. Below the World Skull itself is only the Abyss, a swirling vortex of nothingness that has many tendrils reaching for the various Realms.
The Abyss is only nothingness and what enters it becomes one with it and never returns. One day the whole world, the Skull and all Disks will become one with the Abyss and even today its tendrils can manifest even within the Realms strangely transporting themselves beyond what should be the reach of the vortex.
Though the nature and structure of the Cosmos is far from common knowledge researchers of the Academia Ars Magicka et Mundana have been able to establish a scientific baseline with the aid of powerful Mediums.
Leading academics in the field of Cosmic Studies are Professor Emeritus Zeriban Haewytt Siebentius Zaytseva and the Wizard Todd, opposing academic juggernauts who have been debating the workings of the cosmos heatedly for centuries.
