Mud Tribe Birth Month Celebrations
The new moon was upon the mountain. The Mud Boys had decorated their culvert with shards of colored glass, broken mirrors, and a few spinners from fishing lures they traded for with the Fish Wardens. Tonight's celebration of their brethren who were born under the proud moon was going to be amazing. The festivities would start when the youngest woke up and end when the last of the birth month faires went to sleep!
History
The faires of the Mud Tribe did always celebrate their birth month and in fact, used to celebrate their birth days like the other faires. As the mud tribe grew and started to spread out, after the Big Conflict, it became harder for them to celebrate the life of each other. Many of the tribe did not seem to notice, as they were used to being on their own, but things changed when when two members of different factions of Mud Boys had overlapping birthdays and both wanted to celebrate with a day of races.
It was decided then that they would combine their celebrations. This brought more of the friends and relatives than either party would have drawn on their own. Never one to turn down a large party, the Mud Boys soon started combining more birthdays and always wanting to out do the last party. The practice grew until it was decided that the faires of the mud tribe would celebrate their birth months.

Execution
Unlike the other tribes on the mountain, the Mud Tribe celebrates the birth of all faires born in a month on the same day. These birth month celebrations allow the mud tribe to come together and celebrate their members just as a large family would. Even the more hermit habit members of the mud tribe will either make their way to a local meeting spot, or hang items in their home on the day of the celebrations. These celebrations always take place on the new moon.
