This is very old news about my prompts, as I write this six days into August, but alas I am trying to see if this will reignite my creative Summer spark.
And so I wrote about Electrum. From a DnD background, I had one idea for the material, but previous studies on why there is electrum in DnD told about the electric capabilities of the material and since Superia is a bit more advanced than Earth in 1992 - tech wise - I brought this material from the depths (hehe puns) and made it a pass relic that has newly discovery capabilities
At first I thought about writing the whole song, but I am ass at songs and worse at rhymes (specially children like), so I kept it cool and went summary. It flashed a bit of history from the world, mentioning traditions that change as geography change but are still inherited as well as important landmarks in one of the main metropolis of Superia.
Half of it is a newspaper article that probably doesn't have the appropriate writing to be professional and journal-ly, but still, is a great way to introduce the greatest hero of this time: the Admiral, while also talking of the perceived immortality of heroes as the persona never dies and how the media can play a part in the perceiving of heroes in this world.
Last but not least, my own version of Edna Mode marks the world ending the ancient tradition of capes (NO CAPES!). Heroes have old traditions as well, despite the modern hero be considered a fairly recent idea, and the modern hero still has much to do to differentiate from past heroes.
What's Next?
After that, some communication and a little flashing out of Emberly and Carracosta, but I never got back to space. Maybe I'll go there some other time, and bring some shines.
