The Wyldshade is an ever-shifting reflection of our world. It encompasses two distinct, interweaving territories: the vibrant Sidhe Wilds and the somber Umbral Wastes.

Dual Nature

The Wyldshade’s realms are constantly in flux, where the untamed magic of the Sidhe Wilds bleeds into the dreary reaches of the Umbral Wastes. This plane does not conform to the conventional laws of nature or magic as we know them. Time flows erratically here, and geography is never constant.

The Wyld

The Sidhe Wilds are a kaleidoscope of life and color, brimming with lush forests, sprawling meadows, and sparkling rivers. The land itself seems alive with magic, but not kind.
They are capricious. Paths may change course, rivers may reverse flow, and forests may spring up overnight where none stood before.

Fae Inhabitants

Still, these chaotic wilds are home to a myriad of creatures known as *fae*. From the elusive pixies to the noble ___, the inhabitants of the Sidhe Wilds are as diverse as the landscape itself.

The Shade

In stark contrast, The Umbral Wastes are coated in shadow and desolation. The land is sparse and barren; the atmosphere heavy with an overpowering sense of foreboding.
The Wastes are littered with the ruins of forgotten civilizations, their histories lost to time. Shadowy beings roam these lands, their forms and intentions often obscured.

Veil of Night

The magic flowing through the Wastes is one of concealment, illusion, and darkness. In places where this magic is weak, sunlight can banish much of the Waste’s power. In places where it is strong, night can seem to last forever.

The Wyldshade

The fluid border between the Sidhe Wilds and the Umbral Wastes is where The Wyldshade gets its name. These realms are not static; they ebb and flow like waves on a beach. An abandoned city in the Wastes might one day find itself overtaken by the vibrant life of the Wilds, while a blooming forest in the Wilds may gradually succumb to the encroaching gloom of the Wastes.

Travel and Caution

Traveling through the Wyldshade requires not only physical fortitude but also mental resilience. The plane responds to the thoughts and emotions of those within it, often in unpredictable ways. Navigating its territories is as much about understanding oneself as it is about understanding the land.
