The Luminant Exultation
Held every year on the day of the summer solstice when the days are at their longest, the Luminant Exultation is one of the largest and most important ceremonies within the Church of the Radiant Saints. On this day, the faithful of the Radiant Church gather to give their thanks to the Creator, the light-aligned Elari (Archaiel, Ayari, and Aureon), and the Five Saints, and ask for their guidance and blessings in the year to come.
Execution
about an hour before noon on the day of the ceremony, the faithful gather at their nearest temple or shrine for a sermon delivered by the highest ranking member of the clergy in their area, which typically focuses on significant moments from the previous year and how it ties into the faith. Following this, the ceremony proper commences at noon, consisting of prayers to the Creator, the light-aligned Elari, and the Five Saints, praising and giving thanks to them, and asking for their blessings for the year to come.
Components and tools
For those who are unable to attend the ceremony at a temple, offering up prayers at a local shrine (either a communal or personal one) is encouraged.
